Beattie-Powers Place presents a multi-tented, outdoor BBQ picnic with food, drinks, music & more in one of the area's most gorgeous settings overlooking the Hudson River. We are looking forward to welcoming friends old and new, and hope that you will join us!
We want you to feel comfortable, so will follow health & safety protocols. Proceeds will help support Beattie's essential maintenance (e.g. porch restoration and critical plumbing infrastructure) and programming. There will be jazz music on the porch, and the event will be rain or shine, and we can't wait to see you!
$125 for 1 ticket
$250 for 2 tickets
$400 "Party Pack" of four tickets -- while supplies last!
Fun raffle of items made by local makers! Our thanks to Harney & Sons, Current Cassis, Adams Fairacre Farms, Bread Alone and the Schecter Family Fund for their generous gifts.
Our last picnic was sold out... To those of you who attended last time: We've incorporated some of your ideas to make this picnic even better! Space is again limited, so please reserve your ticket today. Or send your RSVP to info@beattiepowers.org. If you need help with access or have special dietary needs, please let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate!
Thank you in advance for your support. As you know, this 1840s site requires care to keep going, and The Friends are actively working on critical maintenance projects. The signature Ionic columns on the porches have sustained weather-related damage in recent years, with several bases suffering significant rot. Also, there are some plumbing infrastructure issues to solve, to minimize more significant problems down the road. It's with your support that we can secure this site for generations to come!
The event will follow health & safety protocols. The Friends of Beattie-Powers Place is supported by individual donors & supporters. Special thanks to The Bank of Greene County. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permissible by the law. To learn more about Beattie-Powers Place and how to support this volunteer-driven organization, click here.
