Set Sail on Sloop Clearwater!
Saturday, August 24. Please reserve now
Join us for a special one-day program about the environment, and the Clearwater's role in protecting it, free for kids and adults

Through a generous grant from the Catskill Community Center, Beattie Powers Place is offering a free, one-day program which will include a 2 ½ hour sailing for Catskill town and village children on the Hudson River from Catskill Point, deck tours and evening presentation.
After sailing, the sloop will redock at Catskill Point and open the deck to the public for two hours, with onboard educators on hand to answer questions. That evening, Clearwater staff will give a presentation at Beattie Powers Place about the sloop’s history of environmental education, activism, and current campaigns - including healthy consumption of fish from the river, the PCB cleanup, and invasive species. All three activities are free. Reservations required; space is limited!
